As the night went on I don't think it stopped once. I finally went to sleep and before I did I took a few pics so that I could compare it to how it looks then to in the morning. As soon as I woke up I went straight to the big window in the living room. The snow had surpassed the bushes and was up to the window. The 4 bottom steps to get upstairs completely covered. This is the most snow I have ever seen, or can remember lol. Right now I am drinking my coffee, with Suri laying next to me, waiting for the subways to start running again so I can go to work. To this hour there are still gust of snow. They are calling it one of NYC's biggest storms!
Happy Snow Day!

Blizzy2010'
WOW! What a blizzard, right? Christmas was wonderful as always.. family, fantastic homemade Italian cooking, laughter, friends, booze, and of course PRESENTS! This year we were lucky enough to spend it with both sides of the family and tons of friends. Suri was able to hang out with her cousins, all though, she truly hated it and we came to the conclusion that she thinks she is human and doesn't like dogs... weird. Anyway, We were supposed to go to my aunts house yesterday and celebrate some more but, due to the blizzy we had to jet early in the morning so we could beat the hazardous driving conditions, so I could be home to go to work today. The drive was traitorous, SUV's on their sides, Hummers spinning out of control. I was so nervous my stomach was in a knot the whole time. It took us 2 and a half hours to get home. (Our normal ride takes 1hr) I went max 40 mph the whole way.. I mean come on I had precious cargo.. Suri, Jimmy and our new presents! By the time we got home I would say it was about 3-4in' on the ground. It was insane. I have never seen anything like this. Hour by hour it would get worse, gusts of wind up to 60mph, heavier snowfall, I could barely see across the street. It was a complete white-out. It might have been one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
