Apple & Bee

These totes from Apple & Bee are just darling. We fell in love with them not only for their adorable prints but for their strength and durability. Another great trait, if they get dirty you can just toss them in the wash and.... Presto!, you have a brand new tote! This super practical tote is great to take shopping and will keep all your valuables safe. All totes are made from 100% USDA Certified organic cotton.
It's that time of year where we struggle to keep our lips feeling moisturized and smooth on a daily basis. Luckily Apple & Bee's lip balms have arrived! These balms are equipped with Honey and  Paw-paw. Two natural healers. Honey has been known to moisturize and disinfect lips and help in the healing of chapped lips and lip-related wounds. It acts as a moisture barrier, protecting the lips from exterior factors that would strip the skin of their natural moisture. Paw-paw is known as the worlds best wound healer for the skin Paw-paw also is often used in skin products for the purpose of a natural lift & rejuvenation of the skin. It contains Vitamin A, a property that benefits skin repair through increasing the rate of new cell formation. Vitamin C is also an anti-oxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother, softer skin.

DJ Brace

You know how sometimes you get lost in a musical trance? Were you have that one particular song stuck in your head from days to weeks? When you catch yourself humming the same tune throughout all your daily activities? When a certain video mesmerizes you to the point where every other video looks elementary? Ya, you've felt that too? Well, it happened to me a few days ago with "Synestasia" by DJ Brace. It tells a true tale... Music is Art. I mean, between the graphics and the fluidity of his movements, it can only tell that story. That to be a DJ one must have soul, depth, and character, to which, DJ Brace has them all. I am lucky enough to know Brace and know that he is  just as amazing as his music. Thank you Brace for showing us where art and music combine!! See ya soon...actually any day now!

Allison Parris

We fell in love with Allison Parris over the holiday season. With tutu's and beaded silk shifts, it seemed as if they just knew we just itching to go to a fancy party! The femininity and elegance of all of the collection is something we've been coveting for awhile.  We also love that designer Allison Parris utilizes organic silks, fabrics made of recycled materials and factories within Manhattan in order to create a better clothing experience for their clients.

The silk shift dress with pearl trim at waist are our newest arrivals. Gorgeous, don't you think? Allison Parris shift dress in raw silk. Available in Navy and Blush, $395.

The Tuxedo Blazer

Tuxedo Blazers are a necessary staple in any fashionista's closet. I have always loved the sleek look and feel of a structured blazer. It pairs well with almost anything in my closet; from my Pendelton shorts + a Kaight basic tee, to my Shabd Shoreline Dress. This particular tuxedo blazer by Outsider is by one of my favorites. What I love most, is that it passed the Blazer Test... a.k.a. the 5 most important questions, when you are in search of finding the most functional blazer.

The Questions being:
1. Can you extend your arms far enough that you would be comfortable while driving?
2. Can you pick up the kids with out splitting it down the back?
3. Can you wave your arm high enough for a taxi without putting a hole in the armpit?
4. Do I look fabulous?
5. And MOST important... Is it sustainable?

Just like in elementary school when you learned the colors of the rainbow and it's acronym "ROYGBIV". The easiest way to remember the Blazer Test is to ask yourself this one question.. "Don't I look fabulous driving my kids around in a sustainable taxi?"
