Gish is widely described as the greatest actress of the silver screen. She started off her career in 1912 working on D.W. Griffith. She continued to woo the audiences until her passing in 1987. Gish's roles always consisted of fragile, virginal parts due to her deceptively frail look. She was female version of a hustla.. aka a DIVA!
