PoppleDiaries.

I was just catching up on some of my favorite blogs and came across this picture on Rose Red's Blog. It is exactly every single doll I was in LOVE with when I was younger.. I don't even think I can think of one other that should be on this.. well maybe Popples! Do you remember those things? Omg my sister and I were obsessed with them! I think we had the orange and pink ones but I will have to confirm with her. OH! and just last week I thought about "My Magic Diaries" my sister had one of those too and I remember I always tried to read it but could never figure out her password! Damn she was good!

(Rose Red's Collage.. What were the name of those lil' rabbits.. I just remember they were super small and they had sooo many different animals)

(Popple.. My heart)

RainChilde.

Hey all, Sorry I have been off my game this month.. been super busy! I thought that it was supposed to be April showers bring May flowers.. WTF is going on with March? I can see how they call it March Madness.. (that's a sports reference by a fashionista, don't hate!) They weather has been so crazy, from rain rain and more rain.. to upper 60's even 70's sunshine days.. back to freezing cold and raining. I will say this I def purchased my rain boots at the right time. I feel like a super star in these boots, today I got complimented on the subway, stopped in the street and in the coffee shop! Compliments on a rainy, yucky day = a big smile on my face! Brighten up the stormy weather with FASHION!

We have been getting tons of shipments these past couple of weeks for spring/summer. Everything is pretty much to die for.. and makes me want summer to be here NOW! New stuff from Mr. Larkin, Dream and Awake, Crossley, Loomstate, EDUN, Fin Oslo, Article 23 and of course Feral Childe! So much to choose from! I will say this.. Feral Childe has blown me away, the cut of the dresses, spring colors and most of all the original prints. Feral Childe collaborative drawings form the basis of the collection's textile prints, wry construction details, and is a womenswear line by bi‐coastal design duo Moriah Carlson (Brooklyn, NY) and Alice Wu (Oakland, CA), who both come from a fine arts background. Each season, Feral Childe'sabsurdest accessories. Feral Childe combines thoughtful choice of materials and attention to quality construction to make smart, wearable silhouettes for forward-thinking women. Feral Childe is proudly manufactured in New York City.

Weekend.

This weekend has been nothing but downpours, fallen trees, and power outages. Probably one of my top 5 fears. (I am a huge baby when it comes to big ol' mother nature!) So over the weekend I opted to stay in the apt and just catch up on my shows and rest. I was so exhausted due to the event and all the work that comes with it, but it was def worth it! Event was a blast, it was so great to see some of my favorite customers and those die hard Melissa fans! All in all great company, great drinks, and everyone left with a box of Melissa's in hand! SUCCESS! After this weekend I was sooo glad to have the Melissa/Vivienne Rain Boots.. if I didn't I would have been devastated and of course soaking wet tootsie's and I am def not a fan of that!

After the event I went to Brown Bag Thursdays and that was also a huge SUCCESS as always! The boys performed and did amazing as usual. I haven't seen them perform in a lil while now so I was pumped up to go see them perform in Jersey on Saturday. Well as you all must know by now Jersey was the one area that was hit the worst over the weekend. The ride to get there was so traitorous we had to turn around. The FDR was flooded so bad, water was up to our doors and when we finally escaped that the road to get there was completely flooded and only way to get there was through a mountain. We were smart enough to say this isn't a good idea and luckily everyone was on the same track. So the boys that made it performed.. it was a Audible Doctor, Koncept and Holla show.. and they KILLED it (as they always do)! Really wished we all could have been together like one happy family but I am def more glad that everyone is safe.

TableTalk.

According to all the magazine, trend spotters, fashion forecasts and our new spring lines, Neutrals are one of the big trends this season. We have decided that well since we have all the garments and products... why don't we dedicate our main table to the trend? And that is just what we did! We combined the neutral trend with some of our favorite pieces in the shop to create wearable works of art.

Starting on the left side of the table we have the Fin Olso "zippered dress" sale price $270, paired with Melissa "Kali" wedges $120, Matt & Nat "helios" wallet $95 and the LuLu Frost "plaza number" 7 necklace $295.

On the right we have the new Camilla Noreback 100% organic cotton top $150, paired with Melissa/Vivienne Westwood "stamp flat" $130, Matt & Nat studded bag $185 and the Study "zipper" necklace $125 and bracelets $35. Of course, we had to thrown in our FAVORITE..the Melissa/Vivienne Westwood rain booties $130 and our newest Priti Polish.. all $12.50.

So simple, elegant and chic, If I do say so myself!
