Prairie Underground Trunk Show 9/22

You've asked for more Prairie Underground, so here it is! Join us as we host Prairie Underground at an evening trunk show. We will have a selection of the ever popular cloak hoodies, including the new Rain Cloak, as well as new fall dresses, tops and leggings. We will also be raffling off an item (winner's choice!) and several exclusive tees (must be present to win). This is a great opportunity to stock up on Seattle's hottest collection. * About Prairie Underground: Since its inception, some or all of Prairie Underground’s fabrication have used organic cotton. Today, the collection also includes hemp, hemp/cotton, organic cotton and organic denim. However, refusing to be pigeonholed as a “green” company, Camilla Eckersley and Davora Lindner prefer to talk in terms of being socially conscious; their cotton comes from South Carolina, and they contract with manufacturers within 15 minutes of their studio in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. All of Prairie Underground’s pieces are meant to be machine-washed and dried in order to avoid the high toll that dry cleaning takes on the environment. “Part of our Mission Statement is for our line to reflect our conscience,” says Lindner.
Event Details:
When: Thurs., Sept. 22, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Kaight - 83 Orchard St., NY, NY 10002

One of my first instagrams! Be prepared for millions to come your way!

Nicole Richie

I love me some Nicole Richie! She is a style icon, an inspiration... Even after 2 beautiful children, she is looking fabulous as ever and still rockin' it! Love these looks from her shoot with "That" magazine.

Streetsy.

As I was floating around in cyber space I came across this video. Do you know who you are wearing and where it was made? I do.

"The Analog Tape" by J57

It's your lucky day!! My handsome, extremely talented fiance' released his 2nd beat tape today!  It's title, "The Analog Tape". I have said it all before... (numerous times) how proud I am of him. He continuously has proven to me that hardwork, dedication, sacrifice, and passion will eventually lead to an outcome that can only be felt in your heart. Something so real that there are no adjectives can describe. A feeling of living and conquering your dreams. As he conquers this dream I feel the same joy. Only for me, its a feeling of gratitude and admiration. He is an incredible role model and I can only hope that my passion for fashion will amount to the same success in the later years. I love you Jimmy! Thank you for being you! Xoxo, Luff!

FWMJ'S Producers I Know Presents: J57 "The Analog Tape". "The Analog Tape" is a dirty, dusty early 90's sounding beat tape produced entirely by J57.

"Suri helped me greatly on this when she was just a baby pom.. most of the beats are from 07/08 but I re-vamped them and made it into 1 cohesive track ...like a mixtape." - J57

Ariella Lux!

Congratulations to my best friends Jessica and Nick on welcoming their new bundle of joy, Ariella Lux! Ariella was born on Wednesday, Sept. 7th at 11:32 p.m. She is the most beautiful little angel I have ever set my eyes on. Jess and I have been besties since high school, I couldn't picture my life without her and now I can't imagine Ella not being a part of this equation. It is amazing how you could love something so much just in a matter of a few hours. She is a precious gift and will be cherished until the end of time. I could not be happier for their new little family and wish nothing but health, happiness and love.

Ella,
I promise to be the best Auntie I can be and I will ALWAYS be there for you and to take you shopping whenever you want! ;) I love you more than words can describe.
 Love always,
Auntie Shelly
