I was in desperate need of a hair cut and have been itching for this one specific hair cut. I am obsessed with "The O.C." and right now I am up to the episodes where Marissa Cooper goes to public school wearing Chanel everything (not a good idea Coop, not a good idea). If it isn't enough to be harassed for being beautiful and rich, she always had a skeleton in her closet (this weeks one is she shot her boyfriends brother). Anyway that's totally not what I was trying to get at but felt the need to tell you all that.. Wow.. So what I am trying to get at is her HAIR.. So long and so beautiful. I brought in at least 6 pictures of this one style that I have been waiting for.
(look below)
I thought about donating before I went into the salon and I chose that next time I went for a cut I would do it. I was in love with this cut and NEEDED it! Once I got to the salon I realized how long it actually was and realized that if I did cut off 8-10 inches it would still be long. The hairdresser reassured me that it would still be dramatically long also. So I was like what the hell there are people who need it more than I do and it grows back. I said "as long as I have hair like that I don't care what you do." I'm not one to really care about the hair or cut I kinda just always go with it. Well I left the salon almost in tears (I waited it until I got home). It wasn't at all what I asked for and the only thing that is keeping me going is that it is for a good cause. There are worse things that can happen right? I must say though, this is the first time I have ever cried over my hair and it will be the last!! Good bye my long locks... hope you will give someone else the love you have given me.. till next time ;(You will be missed!
** For those of you who would like to donate their are a few rules, hair must be cut at least 10 inches in a pony tail or braid, Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process. **If the hair was bleached years ago and has completely grown out it is fine to donate**
